From film to beauty, Korea is undoubtedly having a moment on the international stage.

And this spring, one of its most talented female artists, Stickymonger, is coming to Dubai to showcase her work as part of Four You Gallery.

The travelling gallery initiative exclusively showcases the work of female artists in an attempt to transpose the gender inequality that continues in the art world, and from 19 February until 11 March, the Korean-born, New York-based artist will debut her Lonely Planet exhibition.

Inspired by animation and surrealism, Stickymonger’s uses spray paints and vinyl stickers throughout her work which is both autobiographical and experimental, and recent successes include an exhibition of her work at the Frieze Art Fair in New York with Murakami Takashi’s KikiGallery, a solo show entitled On a Clear Day with Hidari Zingaro in Tokyo, and a solo show Parallel Universe withSpace27 in Hong Kong.
