Eric Waldo has worn many hats over the span of his career.

You probably know him best as the Executive Director of Michelle Obama’s Reach Higher Initiative—a signature program of the Obama White House that aimed to build a college-going culture in all communities across the country. He served in that role for nearly three years, first helping the First Lady get the initiative up and running and then growing it into a powerhouse campaign that hosted mega-events like College Signing Day. Not to mention, he did it all from a tiny desk steps away from the door of Mrs. Obama’s office in the East Wing of the White House.
